box blade?

this past fall i had a new septic system installed. there is quite a lot of ground that will have to be leveled and made ready for grass. my question is ,will a box blade make it easier, and how many uses will i have for it after that? there are some other areas that i would like to level out . never having used a box blade before, am not sure if it will be worth the $. also if i buy one what is a good one to buy and what will be a fair price? thanks for any help on this subject

I think a boxblade would do the trick. However, at $400 or $500 for an inexpensive boxblade, I'm not sure that that one use would justify the expense. Maybe you could rent/borrow one from someone? How about a regular backblade? Have any roadwork to do?

Frank:
Your profile indicates you have a back blade. Try it to roll a windrow of dirt back and forth across the area you want leveled. Do this much more than once and try and keep the windrow as large as the tractor will easilly pull. You may be surprised at the results.
Note: Its the back and forth rolling of the windrow that will do the leveling. You may also have to experiment with the angle and tilt of the blade to get a position that works best.
What size Boilers do you work with?

i thought i might be able to do it with back blade, but was not sure, think i will try that before i buy anything else. won't be for quite a few months tho, the weather up here is no condusive tot that type of worktill around may. right now i am running 450hp gas fired boilers @ 150 psi.
