I see northern tools now offers 3pt attachments for sub compacts. Has anybody purchased there box blade. How does the king kutter compare to the woods? See web page below.

Also i just cleared an area for my garden and was wondering if a box blade would level and brake up the soil for planting instead of using a tiller.

also what is the cost of the woods gbc48" box blade?

I had a 48" KK BB that I pulled behind a B7500 I used to own and it worked just fine. My only beef with it was the sharp edges but a grinder took care of that.

The best results for putting in a garden would probably be attained with a plow and disk. A box blade will probably only break up the soil to a depth of 4". I was thinking about adding a box blade to my implements until I borrowed the neighbors for a day. While it did a fairly good job on leveling and filling, it was no better than what I was able to do with my disk and landscape rake. I have a single bottom plow, a 4' double row disk, a 6' rear blade, and a 5' landscape rake, using a B2910HSD. I have not found anything that some combination of these tools cannot do.
