Agreed on the dozer with a rake idea, our washington buddy had a nice set up (before he sold it) ):

I've pulled rocks a whole lot bigger than a basketball out of the ground with my boxblade with rippers though.

Been thinking about welding up a rake for my dozer. Would be tough going on my little machine though.
