lol @ what your wife said. i spent a lot of time here when we first bought our property. been a while since i've been back, nbf ot sucks up all my time, well that and work, the fam and the property. my wife calls the nbf people my "imaginary friends". lol.

when i lived in Bellingham, a good friend of mine lived out in Ferndale. they had a nice 20 ac place, they've since moved, but that's a nice area.

your tractor looks a little muddy, btw.lol.

Yeah, hoping to have that "muddy" issue remedied by tomorrow. We have about 8 acres.

As far as forums go, this place, NBF, and a couple paintball forums keep me busy. Probably here the most lately (just got my tractor & acreage within the last year). You should check out my paintball field project in the the projects forum. That's sucking up a lot of my time.

I use the scarifiers when I use the box blade for excavating (e.g. for the walkways, for the exercise path). See the attachment.

I remove them when I do leveling/grading work in relatively soft soil, like it is now after several months of rainy season up here in the North Valley.

Tomorrow, weather permitting, I'll be scraping turf off landscape areas for shrubs and will remove the scarifiers for that work since the ground just got a good soaking yesterday.
