Okay, I learn something every day on this cite and try to pass on some knowledge at least once a week. In looking at another thread on box blades, I am reconsidering whether a box blade is better suited for my tasks or is a regular rear blade better. I need a blade that is wider than my rear tires which are set at 83 to 84 inches. Therefore, I have been looking at 8 foot blades. I primarily use a blade to work on my dirt access roads that wind through my property. I use one to clean out my ditches along those roads and to clean up ruts in the roads. What do you think box or no box. And, who make the best heavy duty blade?????

A rear blade should have gauge wheels to be effective for some jobs such as road grading.:D
