I was looking for a good box blade for my tractor and most half decent units are in the $1,200 range up here but I stumbled on a lot with some auction stuff for sale.
I do not know the brand name but for a 72" it is only $595.00

The side pieces are 5/16" thick and the ripper attachment point is a 3" square tube. It has replaceable rounded front and rear cutting edges. The sales guy told me they weigh about 600 pounds. It seems pretty well built and the only thing I see is it has pins instead of the clevice type connection for the tph arms.

Is there anything else I should check for? How can I tell if the rippers are good material or not? They have a welded on point.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks?

It's preferable for the rear blade to be hinged so that it will swing up out of the way and not limit the bite of the front blade.
