Rear Blade Box blade or Rear Blade?

How far will the BX2200 be able to hydraulicly raise and lower the box blade? I'm thinking that if I got a load of driveway stone dumped, could I back up to the pile, raise the box to grab some stone, lower the box, then drive off to dump it somewhere else??

What about a rotary cutter to go in there and just blow away all the brush? (hope you cut those trees close to the ground) Or get in there with a gallon or RoundUp in the Spring and after all the brush is dead, rotary cut it real low, rake it and seed it? bw

Thats what you use your bucket for.

Yes, that can be done; takes a little practice and the right length adjustment on the top link, and it sure helps if you have a hydraulic top link so you can frequently change the adjustment. Remember that you're dragging the contents of that box, not picking up and carrying it.

The boxblade has an open bottom. The BX can lift it plenty high to grab a load and spread it. More effective will be to use the loader to to distribute the gravel and then smooth and spread with the boxblade and then drag it with a flexible tine harrow. J
