Anyone have any recommendations for what size/type/manufacturer box blade to get for this tractor?
Box blade for a JD 2130?

I would recommend an 8' Gannon hd with hydraulic scarifiers. A top and tilt hitch would be a great addition too.
The only hydraulics I have are for the FEL. I don't have any rear remotes (though I'd like to add them one day, but that's another project and expense). Am I correct in assuming any heavy Cat II box blade would work, as long as it's as wide as the rear of the tractor (at the tires)?

Yes a 7' or 8' heavy duty box blade will work with your tractor. With your tractor a large rollover box blade could be a good choice too. What ever BB you choose make sure it is rated for 75 hp +. You can buy a Gannon or similar box blade in the 1200 to 1500 lb. weight that will work well with your tractor.
