BTW, what is check valve?
A check valve only lets fluid flow in one direction.

Sorry, wrong made question. Right question is: what dou you call check valve? We call it here (single)direction valve. Thanks.

Stumbled across this tonite while searching for hydraulic top link. Shows that valve the has been mentioned. To bad everything is is in metric /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif. At least the Euro is easier to convert to dollars /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

There is a difference in check valves. A check valve proper allows hydraulic flow only in one direction. A pilot operated check valve allows flow in both directions once a preset pressure has been reached. The pilot operated check valves are used as a safety device for broken hydraulic lines and they will also stop most of the movement due to hydraulic bleed by in tractors. This is the valve you want to keep your loader from bleeding down or to keep a top and tilt from moving during operation. I would not sell a hydraulic toplink without a double pilot check valve.
Cat 1 Toplink 18-26" with double pilot check valve = $150
Cat 1 Toplink 21-32" with double pilot check valve = $170

Can those double pilot check valves be retrofitted easily to an existing hydraulic toplink?

I've already got a toplink, which I had to get modified to get the correct length range for my tractor (15"-23"). It's working great, but I do get some movement under load.

I may be interested in one of your toplinks. What size cylinders? What would shipping be to Cambridge,OH?

Thanks Mark.
"Pilot operated check valve" is valve which I tried to describe before. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I know it like "stop valve", so I made confusion using wrong name. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

CCI

I'm very interested in you HTL with the double pilot check valve. I"ve started a HTL thread under customization forum. There are a few questions that I have posted about HTL.

Midwest will soon be offering one with the pilot check valves.
Don't think it has hit the market yet though.

Thanks for the post. 18-26" is just the right size for my tractor...and it's been hard finding cylinders the right size with the Cat 1 swivels at each end. The double check valve will hopefully take care of my biggest concern with an hyd. toplink...ie drift or leakdown. Thanks again.
