Re: Box Blade Add-On\'s

This is the second hitch I put on my box blade. It bolts on with 4 bolts.

Re: Box Blade Add-On\'s

Picture showing all, after changing to bolt on hitch.
I previously welded on a hitch, but it got in the way of the moldboard effect of dirt feeding up the back, especially when I was rolling up sod while backing up.
The 2" pipe coupling on the top, is what I used to used to move the gooseneck trailer around with.

Re: Box Blade Add-On\'s

Nice work NS

Can you tell me how big your BB is and what size tractor it is on. I am hoping I might be able to put a hitch on my BB that would allow me to haul a trailer (old ground driven manure spreader now used as a water tank trailer) with a 300 gallon water tank on it.

My BB is a MidWest Model 20 - 72 and the tractor is a 50 HP 4WD with FEL.

Thanks
Bob

Re: Box Blade Add-On\'s

I think my box blade would be considered fairly heavy as box blades go. It is a Gannon HD-315LR. This is 76" widex24" tall back & hydraulic teeth. I use it on tractors from 30 HP to 105. Most of the time on a Kubota L4610.
