I think I got a pretty good deal, Rhino TW72, probably a 2002 - 2003 model based on the serial number for $1,000. There are some dents and dings in the deck and there's been some welding done on the rear deflector over the years but otherwise she seems to be in pretty good shape.

Ran quietly, no rust under the deck, brand new tail wheel and still a good bit of steel on the blades. Can't wait to get back to the property next weekend and start shredding some new trails now that I can get equipment across the creek.

I definitely need a bigger trailer now though, I'm thinking a 25' dovetailed goose neck with a pair 10k axles should do the trick...

Looks like a nice cutter, and yes I think you are going to need a bigger trailer.

I have an older Rhino 6ft cutter. I think they are well built and very durable. Chain guards on the front are also a great addition. I built a chain guard for my 10' cutter. NEVER get any debris forward. Good thing...

Couple of pics unloading it and hooked up. I love the extendable 3pt links on this tractor, they make implement hookup almost pleasant.

Nice tractor. Just curious - what would that attachment cost brand new?

Yes it is new paint and a new tail wheel.

I was quoted about $2700 for a 72" Land Pride with slip clutch. This one is definitely much heavier built with 10ga steel on the deck and 1/4" thick sides, it's a very sturdy cutter. I haven't priced the Rhino new but all the other used Rhino cutters I saw were $1400 minimum. I think new, this one would have been close to the price of the Land Pride, if not a little more.

In my territory used cutters are common. And are usually a bargain.

It appears to be built like a tank. Sounds like you got a good deal.
