Bought my first tractor Ford 1710 4x4

I picked up a 86 Ford 1710 4x4 with 770a FEL and a 758a backhoe . Mechanicaly everything Is good. Plans are to change all the fluids and filters, has around 2000 hrs on it. I paid 8k for it with a trailer. Has a lot of surface rust so so e cleaning and a little paint should get her looking good again. Will have some pictures up this evening.

Nice. I paid $8,000 for mine with no backhoe or trailer. It's been a great tractor. The hydraulics are not super fast like the newer tractors, but they get the job done. My 1710 has been trouble free.

I had same year 1710 for years. Only difference was a Woods 750 hoe and no trailer. Great tractor. Sold with 1400 hours on it. Lived outside and would start down to 5 degrees with no probleem

Just search for "ford 1710" on eBay. I have a 1210 and got a usable CD repair manual there
