I went for something a little smaller than my other larger tractors. However, I would like to know if anyone could please tell me if I should use the recommend CJ-4 or better quality oil - WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Also, does anyone know where I can get the 50 hour oil change kit. Thank you.

You definitely need to use the recommended API class oil. CJ4 is a current oil, but is superceded buy CK4. CK4 is likely easier to find anyway.
These oils are designed for the Tier4 dpf emissions system on your tractor.
As far as the 50h service, I would personally go to the dealer and stick with OEM filters. Read your manual carefully as to which transmission filters are replaced at the 50h service.
Enjoy your new machine!

Great explanation on API ratings. Different viscosities are recommended depending upon the temperatures. Definitely stick with the Kubota filters, especially for the HST!! You may be able to get a kit of genuine filters from your dealer or Messicks.
