Bought a new B3030HSDC today

One thing you dont hear 3030 owners brag about is the turning radius, they turn on a dime!

One of the things that I didn't like about the B7610 was that it was difficult to use the wheel brakes to tighten a turn in close quarters while keeping a little forward movement with the hydrostatic. On occasion I would have to reach down and push a brake pedal with my hand while keeping a little foot pressure on the hydrostatic pedal. With the different style cruise on the B3030 I'm thinking that will not be an issue.

To keep my B3030HSDC from steaming up when blowing snow I keep the heat up and run the air conditioner to dry out the air. I am in it for about four hours on most storms but this keeps the windows clear. Sometimes I do have to open a window to let some heat out.

But after a few years of operating a 60 inch rear blower with a no cab JD 790, this will be a good problem to have with my new B3030 HSDCC.
Of course since I brought it home a few weeks ago, there hasn't been a flake of snow. In fact yesterday I removed the blower for the season and threw the ballast box on for spring stuff before lawn mowing season arrives.

The salesman from the dealership called, the tractor is ready. I'll check it out tomorrow and make sure everything is as agreed before I take delivery and turn over the B7610.
Murphy must be laughing, I also got a call from a company I have done work for in the past to see if I am available to go to one of their sites to deal with a problem that came up. They will let me know by Friday. Sounds about right, delivery of new tractor followed imediately by work far, far away.
On the bright side, they might pay me enough to cover the cost of the front mount snow blower.
