Boomer 8N CVT throttle pedal cable routing

Hi, new member and owner of a Boomer 8N, I am looking if someone could post a picture of their routing of the throttle cable under the throttle pedal. When I bought mine I found the cable end was broken. There is no illustration in the maintenance manual showing routing, the parts catalog implies the cable end sits on the outside post of the throttle but mine was installed on the inside. Both locations seem to have a sharp angle when the throttle is at rest which probably contributed to it breaking. Thanks in advance.

Here is the new cable in the same position as the old one. Seems to work fine but I would think the bracket should be lower to give the cable a straighter pull.

You’re right, lowering the bracket a bit could really help reduce strain and prevent it from wearing out or snapping again
