Boomer 55 hydrostatic with 156 hours (cab & fel)
Wife used tractor to pull out stuck zero turn, parked it. 30 minutes later it made a single click noise when I attempted to start it, then nothing. No power to dash, or relay box & fuse box near steering column. I didn’t check other in cab fuse box but probably dead also. Battery measures 12.7 volts, the 120 amp fuse on positive clamp has voltage on both sides. Is there another in-line fuse before the cab? Operator manual not much help so hoping one of you guys could point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!

Add to my previous post / problem I did also find two fuses 1-30 amp, 1-40 which manual states the 40 amp is ECU fuse mounted top back side of air filter along side two relays (guessing relays are for glow plugs or intake heat). Both fuses check good.
Also while checking my 71 yo “not what they used to be” ears detected a slight buzzing sound still under hood but closer to the firewall. Disconnected battery for about an hour hoping for a reboot (miracle) but no change after reconnecting buzzing sound also returned.

Jump your battery. When the tractor starts, check voltage at battery, should be 14+/_VDC.
Replace battery with new one.
My tractor did the exact same thing, including the strange buzzing. Relays and transistors get weird with low voltages.

1st check would be battery post/terminals are clean and there is a good ground connection to the negative lead.

Put meter on battery than try to start while watching meter. Ill bet it really drops.

Like posted earlier, a charged battery reads somewheres between 13.5-14.2 vdc.

Also, grip connections at battery and twist. If they move at all, clean and retighten till they dont twist. Also, make sure points where cables attach to starter and body ground are clean and tight.

Update on my no start problem; flyerdan was spot on. While my battery load tested good, holding voltage at 12.7, I had always intended to replace it to replace with an Optima red top to avoid the corrosive fumes being drawn into the radiator. While removing the clamps I noticed the bolt that attaches the ground cable to the frame was loose…..a lot! Reattached clamps & problem solved. I did go ahead with the battery replacement as I had almost waited too long with my previous tractor, the fumes had started their work on it.
Thanks for the replies!
