Boom cylinder specs

Hello everyone,

I'm in desperate need of help. I have been trying to find the specs (stroke, extended and retracted) for a boom cylinder on a 235tl loader that's on a new holland boomer 24. I have called multiple dealers and they have the part just not the specs. And I really dont want to buy a new cylinder from dealer as it is 700 bucks. Does anyone have the specs or know where I can get them...please help. Thanks in advance.

I'd have it rebuilt at a hydraulic shop, that would be the cheapest. If it can't be rebuilt, they'll be able to sell you an equivalent cylinder.

I found specifications on the loader, but not the cylinders. The cylinders specs maybe in the operators manual.

Can you remove it from the tractor? Then manually extend and retract it, to measure the distance... Are they bent? or just leaking? I would also, recommend to find a hydraulic shop. Ask others around you to where you should go.

My husband and I measured the other cylinder that matches the bad one. I did take the bad cylinder to a hydraulic shop and to get it rebuilt is gonna cost close to 700 which is the same cost as a new one thru new holland. I did find cylinders thru magister that I think will work and have matching specs for retracted measurement but they are out of stock at the moment.

I will have to check the manual out maybe it will have more info in it regarding the cylinders. Just thought it was weird that no one seems to have the specs...someone has to have them in order to make those cylinders.
