Body Armour

Here's mine I did last year. I still need to fill in the middle. The chain box real nice and the receiver has come in handy a time or two. I bought the tractor used and the brush guard was a little bent. I welded 3/4"x6" on the sides, back, and bottom to the orginaly brush guard. Then the front is 3/4"x8"
I drilled my holes and bought longer grade 8 bolts.

I knocked out some front lights last summer pushing brush. Then when movig some rocks I had one rock roll off the bucket and dropped on to the hood - plastic hood. You can guess how that worked out. So this winter I am adding some protection to the lights and hood.any pics of similar projects?

No pics, but if you want tremendous stock for light guards, get yourself a shopping cart to cut up. The basket grate material is completely indestructible. I don't know what will help you with dropping boulders onto your hood - boulders are typically quite unforgiving :).
