bobcat bogging down

hello all,
i have a bobcat model 642 that i am borrowing. it has run great for a couple of months but lately it has been bogging down or hesitating, almost stalling. any suggestions? thanks i appreciate it.

Don't want to point out the obvious, and I don't know much about them, but is the brake on?

the bobcat 642 is a gasoline powered skid-steer. Does it smoke (thru the exhaust) some?, does it rev-up like it should? If it is smoking, or does not rev up, or both then I'd check if the choke is on, or if the air cleaner is dirty, causing a choke like effect. (skidder gets to much gas/not enough air).


If that isn't the problem, (to much gas) then it may be starving for gas -- possibly a plugged gas filter.
