Bobcat A220

I need information on how to reset the handles in a Bobcat A220. Someone posted that the way to do this is to push both joysticks forward and then turn on the key and wait 30 seconds. This did not seem to work so apparently I'm doing something wrong. Right now it will only run in skid steer. It has all wheel drive and will not work. The time clock is broken so I do not know how many hours are on this machine. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to take it to a dealer because I can't afford it. I called ahead of time to a dealer and when he told me how much it would cost for them to analyze it and run tests he could have knocked me over so I'm trying to get some good advice from people who have figured out ways to correct this problem. I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you all.

Bobcat AWS units will default to skid steer mode if there is a problem. When you select AWS mode and press the PTO button does the AWS switch blink? Is the warning light lit? :confused3:

No, there are no beeps. When you light all 4 lights, it will only go into skid steer, if you push the green and yellow buttons together at the same time.

When you turn the key on do you hear 1 beep?? With the AWS mode switch in AWS,lap bar down and you press GREEN button only, Does the AWS switch light up solid green???
