Block Heater on M7060HDC12

Do they all come standard with a block heater or is this an option?

I have a 3130 and I put my own in from a Kubota dealer..

Block heater is option.
If you want to put it in yourself, don't. Potential for damaging the block if you do it wrong so search for a similar model Kubota that required a partial engine rebuild on a nearly new tractor.

EDIT--Let me add that you may not need one. My M7040 starts just fine at 3 degrees and I have owned others when I lived in Maine that I started at colder temps. Both tractors were in barn but no heat and no block heater. Block heaters are nice so just toss this in your thought process.

There are models you put in the lower radiator hose. Pretty easy to install.

Thanks for the tip. Ill be parking under a pavilion, so it will be exposed to the wind until I close the sides in. Its been pretty cold here in NY this week and got me thinking. I thought it would be standard equipment, but I figured I'd ask before making that assumption.

Let me further add that my Kubotas started at around zero, as mentioned three posts earlier, and did it on dino oil. They could wait to start with synthetic.

Yes, I guess I would want a heater but I'm not sure the world would end if you didn't. If you're just using to plow snow, it's usually warmer when it snows.
