Blinking light and loose steering

I have an exclamation point blinking and i bought this 5530 used so i dont have an owners manual. Does anyone know what this means? Also the when i steering this tractor i make 4 or 5 rounds with the steering wheel before the tires actually start to turn. Any ideas?

Count the flashes after 20min operation. Check the vacuum hoses from alternator to fip. That's the emission light. Could be vacuum leak or misadjusted throttle position sensor. On the steering check the reservoir under hood.

Be sure the throttle is at its lowest setting at start-up for the blinking light issue. On the steering, what year is the tractor as I am not sure that you'll have a separate reservoir I think that your machine will pull the fluid from the gear case.

My tractor is a 2009 and has 100 hours on it...I was gonna order a manual but everything I've read nobody has been happy with the ones they have purchased. Come to think of it my lift works really slow and it hops as it's picking up the bushhog. I've owned the tractor for 4 days now and I figured with the low hours it shouldn't have any problems. The owner passed away and it has has been sitting in a barn not being used for a lil while.

The owner's manual you can get from their site (although down for upgrades at the moment 24/7 Owners Login | Mahindra ). It is the shop/service manuals that need purchased. The owner's manual should provide what is needed for checking fluids and basic troubleshooting of dash lights. It does sound a lot like low fluids.

Do not use the red handle to lift your implements. This handle is for draft control of ground engaging ie; plow.
