Here's the damage. $685 for the windshield, approx. $150 for shipping. They have two in stock at Curtis in MA. Should be here Wednesday. We do have insurance on the tractor and my wife is checking to see if it covers this accident.

If something had hit the windshield driven by wind, would that have been covered or only damage to the house?

A very long time ago, a GF lost control of our tractor, threw her off and drove into our house. Insurance first said, they would cover it, then said no, because it wasn't one of us that was driving. Technically, no one was driving!

My insurance is Marine Inland. I'll dig out a policy and investigate. I think it would cover this. Same as a tree falling on it or something similar. I'll check.

Who is your insurance with?

I think you could have easily traced that frame and cut this out of polycarbonate if it fits within a 4x4 or 4x8 sheet. I made a curved windshield for a racecar from 3/16" thick material and had no trouble getting it to make the bends.
