Bleeding 5085M

Left my staff to run the farm and new assistant decided to change fuel filters but did not know how to bleed it. It's still pretty new, and my former assistant handled last filter change. This has a plunger or something, no? Not like a 6000 with fuel pump you just turn on. Is there manual pump tween the two filters?

Here is the manual that will answer your question on how to bleed your tractor. In the future it would also help to fill the filter before putting it on.

Thx for that, but I've got that, looking for confirmation from someone who has done it on this machine. They have the manual too but can't get it t run so im driving back now.

I told them same thing about filling filter and they replied it wasn't in the manual. Then I requested they not do service on this machine anymore. It's easy to think you know what you're doing when you didn't pay for it.

They were trying to be helpful.

No surprises. There is a lever on the right side tween primary fuel filter and oil filter. Open bleed screw opposite on the final filter and bleeds out just fine. Won't forget after a 200 mile drive :\

They had the coolant overflow tube I guess is what it is, hooked to the drain cock on the fuel filter. Not a big deal, just silly, but I can't let them work on the this machine without supervision. It is parked now and ready for the hay they just cut that is getting rained on. It's just 7 acres and we need the rain, so I figured if I said they could cut it that 1) they would immediately cut it and 2) that it might make it rain

They're doing a great job overall, just over eager with some jobs, and that's just the way it goes. The alternative is worse, for sure.
