Do you like this better than you FEL blade, does the tractor handle it better?

When angled it clears the tires by about 2". I didn't want to go to big that it would be no fun to plow because I wouldn't be able to get traction. I'm already wider then the factory blade.

Both my first blade and this new blade are powder coated. I haven't noticed no problems with the paint at this point. As for tracking straight when the blade is angled.... Once you get a large amount in front of the blade it would start to slide a little but not to bad.

Right now I'm still undecided if I like it better then the loader. There is one thing I don't like and that is that the blade only lift off the ground around 8 inches, so when you push your first pass thru the snow, when reversing the blade catches the side banks. With the loader you just lift the blade above the banks and your good turn reverse and even turn while reversing swinging the blade over the banks instead of thru them. As for now still not sure which I like better.:confused3:

I made some at work out of nylon. Not sure if they will last, meaning breaking rather then wearing out. But the material was free so I gave it a try. I'll try and post a pic if I get the time tomorrow.
