To go along with the "Biggest Repair" thread, I would like to ask all owners if they have any regrets.

What option do you wish you had gotten? What deal did you pass by? What stupid tractor trick do you wish you hadn't pulled? Anybody regret buying the tractor/brand/model they did?

My biggest regret? Two of them...not buying my B2910 sooner and not having enough money to buy all the implements I need /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Sure wish I'd known about tip 'n' tilt when I was picking out dealer options. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

I wish I had a few more ponies; when I was looking the dealer had a used b2150 too. Howeve, I was able to pay cash for my b8200, instead of having payments for the more expensive more hp tractor.

I also wish I had bought my Farmall sooner... It's lots of fun! Hopefully I'll have my sickle going next week

Same regret that I bet most of you guys out here have. <font color=orange>"Now why didn't I spend just a few more bucks for that bigger tractor"!</font color=orange> /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif. This tractor buy'n is a vicious cycle... even though we love our new toy, we're always wonder'n what it would be like to have the next size up.

Actually, to tell the truth, I'm happy with my BX. Any bigger and I'd need two machines, one to mow, the other to..well, play...

I'm happy with my B8200 too. At 19hp though, it's a little on the low hp side... She sure works up a storm though!

I regret not telling my dealer that "I" want to remove the tractor from the crate. I wan't to build it and check fluids and strap (that's strap not chain!) it to the trailer. Heck, I want to drive the trailer to my house and back it off!
BAFOONS! (well, thats an old post)

I already belly ached about this once but I really need to backtrack a little. Going GST instead of HST has been bugging me everytime I get into a tight spot. However, I got a chance to test drive a L3710 HST today. It was great but now I'm not sure I'm willing to give up my foot throttle. Choices, choices.....

Biggest regret is not getting the L4310. I like my L3010 , but always think about how much more I could do with a larger tractor.

Basically then, no one regrets spending the bucks, they regret NOT spending the bucks.

My "biggest regret" would be in not knowing more about tractor tires before the purchase. I would have gone "off the menu" and gotten tires that are more agressive with more plys.

Biggest regret with the 4310 so far is that I didn't get a cab. Got slammed in the face the other day with a limb---ouch.

Deal I passed by---if it's that good of a deal I'll buy it just to resell it.

Stupid tractor tricks--I've got a couple of threads on those aready. I've done a few things with the L3750 that is wasn't ment to do. The loader on that tractor was alot heavier looking than the one on the 4310 time will tell how tough she really is. I don't baby a tractor. They live longer if you run them hard and long.

Well the rep was back after a week of engineers in Atlanta finding the fix. But guess what the fix does not work so the rep says he has done everything he can. I askled what are you going to do now and he said send it to a higher level. I would think the engeneers were the highest level unless some one fibbed. Complain and carry it back and make them fix it. It is dangerous and not correct. AS i was told by rep it is an engeneering problem and not enough people have complained about it for them to warrant looking at it seriously. They have know about it for over two years and just keeping it quite. I want mine fixed or replaced with a tractor that will work and is not a hazard to people who use it.

John Bud,

What kind of tires did you get on your L3410 and what kind would you have preferred?

Top N Tilit as well Harv. My neighbor just bought a John Deere. I mentioned Top and Tilt (its Top because it is the top link) and he said, I wished I had the dealer install that whenI bought it, that way it could have been part of the financing. One day of working his box scraper and now he really wants it. Rat...
