Tractor
none
I have a small, (13 acres) woods composed largely of eastern white cedar and am planning on buying a tractor for maintaining this wood lot and for general use around home. I am located just outside of West Branch , Michigan so this tractor will also be used for a lot of snow plowing in the winter.

One of the things I want to do is to build a road through the wood lot so I am looking for a tractor with a front end loader and something in the 30 to 50 hp range. Any advice and /or opinions are welcome.

Welcome to tbn , eeisch . You'll find a lot of info here to help you with your decision . There are a lot of tractors out there . I would stay with a major brand . Set on them , drive them , see what fits you best . Talk to the dealer . Look at the reviews on this site . Good Luck .
