I have a 2004 cub cadet big country 4x2 with the belt driven honda 18 hp twin, 1300 hrs. Starts and runs great, but occasionally it will continue to push forward even after letting off the gas. Engine rpm seems to drop ok, and the drive belt is fine. When this happens, it goes forward until you press on the brake hard enough to kill the engine, or you turn off the key. Has anyone had a similar issue with a belt driven machine? Any advice on a fix appreciated.
