Arly a couple questions , on your Big Boss am I correct to say the rear axle is just for support and does not power the Boss ?

Also how long does it take you to convert it to the snow track system ?

Without any grief, should take me less than an hour to go pods to wheels. Putting pods on is harder to do, than taking them off. All the wheels drive when in 6x6 mode but when in 4x4 its just the rears. Thats an overly complicated answer. The rear axles drive, all the time.

Gee, I thought I'd posted a thread of photos while changing out the pods to wheels out this spring. I just looked and didn't find it. I'll do a thread on pod change out if people would care to see that.

If we could afford the $$$, this is the machine we'd replace our boss with. Its a 1000cc can-am Outlander with much more HP.

For doing work, we'd not get a normal atv ever. I'm kind of surprised more of these aren't sold and used for working types like us. Go figure!

Thanks Buppies, we are impress too! We had no idea how many jobs it could do, or make easier to accomplish.

Are those photos from this year? I've mentioned it before, grandpa retired on portage lake up there and i remember lots of snow but, not in the summer!

The snow photo's are from past years. :confused3: We are still working on trails and don't need it yet. We've had a few skiffs but not enough to get excited about.

Just teasing about snow in the summer, it's like summer down here right now, having a nice autumn!

It sure looks like you have the right machine for where you live.

I think 6x6's are grossly underrated for the utility they offer. The Boss is the 1st one we've got to use and we love da thing. I'm not sure what you mean by "where you live".

Meaning you have the ability to handle the terrain and snow loads that you get.
