I already have brass head hammers but I just couldn't walk away from this one.

My first time using on this thickness (3/4”) Quite certain this would be the limit.
It worked quite well. You need to take your time though. Pretty good $20 (at the time) investment.
I bought the blade on sale 10-12 years ago.
