Two of the best things I have ever added to a tractor.

1. Put an LCD light on the canapy. Got it from the dollar store 3 AAA and mounted it above the dash. Great because I can turn it on and use it while I drive or after I turn off the tractor. It helps if I'm working on it. And the best thing if I leave it on, I still have a battery in the morning.

2. Found an old 4' electric PVC pipe and I mounted it on the side of the role bar. I have enough room to put two shovels and a manuer scoop. I have never hit my head or shoulder on it. I can't count how many times I have been out and needed a shovel for something.

Tool box is next for me. I hate running back to the shop. Now I just keep a large adj wrench hanging from the PTO engage lever. Bucket hooks would be nice, and thumbs for the bucket if I get to keeps dreaming!

I Run an ad in the paper wanting plastic pipe and somebody called and gave me about 200 feet of used 4 inch.

Cool adding a couple little things like that to make life a little easier. I did the same since I was always working out on my rural property and eventually needed something I didn't have with me. So I added a bunch of stuff such as clamps to carry shovels and rakes, two tool boxes and chain boxes, drink holders, ash tray, 2 way radio pouch, extra lights for night work and even a gun scabbard.
Now life is good.:)

Look in the mirror section of most any auto parts store, you will usually find an assortment of replacement units, most with a swivel ball mounting point.

Hello All,
Here is my best Modification to date.
I decided to do the Guglio retrofit, which is a new NAPA 182 degree T-Stat that Larry retrofits and then customizes a special gasket to fit the Chinese tractors.
I installed it, then fired it up and because it is warm outside, it came up to about 90C within 5 minutes and then I worked the tractor for the next 2 Hours, the tractor had more power than it has ever had.
The temperature in the past, even on the hottest Southern California day, never got above about 40C. I think it is using less fuel as well and has no hesitation like before.

Pictures and the entire simple procedure to follow

Thank You Larry for such a great kit, I think every Jinma owner should have one after installing my own
Rick

That is a great picture.

The best thing about my modifications is that I have broken the light twice and replaced it for $1 each time.

I have added a tool box and found that it is very helpful except for the fact that I need to remember to put my tools back into it.

I carry a rubber hammer for implements, it really saves the feet from kicking things on.
