Fireworks used to be a lot of fun back in my younger days but now not that big of a deal.
I must be getting old, or perhaps it's because they weren't legal back then.

Interestingly, fireworks injuries overall went down in Indiana once they legalized them.

However, and sadly, we still have tragedies, like a few days ago, an 11 year old boy died from fireworks injuries.

Maybe the reason they went down, is legal fireworks are usually not as dangerous.

We have legal fireworks here and the reservation sells fireworks that aren't legal to take off the reservation. The ones on reservation are similar to what would be used in a more professional presentation.
