Best ice cream you ever had?

Back in the early 90's, the lucky folks in mid-Michigan were able to purchase a brand of ice cream by the name of Bexley's. The absolute best flavor they sold was named "Cherry Pie". I still have one or two of the empty plastic tubs it came in !!! The ice cream was made in Bexley, Ohio...140 calories in 4 ounces. IT WAS SO WORTH IT !!!

It was a super-rich premium golden vanilla with cherries and baked pie crust mixed in. We were so sad when it disappeared from the market, as nothing we have had since came close to the taste of that ice cream.

Come on, post your favorites here, calories be darned.

the best i ever had was from the college farm market at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA.

the butterfat % was thru the roof..but back in the 1980's who cared.

now days it would probibly kill me...but man was it good.

I had never heard of Paciugo Gelato until they opened a place in the Grapevine Mills Mall. An Italian ice cream? So while I'm sitting on a bench in the mall waiting for my wife to do her shopping in the J.C. Penney Outlet, it's hard to pass up one of their cones, 3 to 5 flavors in one cone if you wish. It just may be the best ice cream I've ever eaten.

We have a small ice cream place here called Slicks . Some of the best flavors include toasted coconut and starry night Witch is DARK chocolate ice-cream with white chocolate chips . They open may 7th .Can't wait ! They also sell locally in stores here but not the same as going and getting it on a cone.

Got that right. Blue Bell has to be the closest second to hand churned in Aug.

I went to high school in Italy, i can testify that they have the BEST ice cream in the world. best state side would have to be Blue Bell chocolate moo-llennium crunch. Its hard to find some time but boy is it good.
