Best chains for loose soil and mud

I used to live in the big woods where there was nothing but mud, snow and rain and all I ever saw was ring chains. I don't remember too many getting stuck.

Some had had "power trailers" that were trailers made from a truck axle that had a PTO shaft and was driven off the tractor PTO. That helped and I don't think many were ever stuck.

Thanks for the reply sixdogs. You seem to understand that sometimes we have to go into the mud and we need to address the best realistic way of dealing with that.
