If this is somewhat recreational for you, then the above advice is the way to go. Alternatively, you could find a neighbor with a big agricultural tractor to disc and harrow it for you, maybe affordably...but you wouldn't have a nice tiller or other attachments afterwards.

I have done a lot of dirt work with my BX25. I found that the box blade and putting a tooth bar on the front end loader helped a lot with that work.
