Snow Attachments Bervac snow blower

Hi, I have a Satoh S650G 25hp gas tractor it came with a Bervac snow blower and a front mount drive attachment, I have never had this equipment on the tractor since I have had it but would like to get it install for this winter, it looks to me that I have to remove the hydrolic pump from the front of the tractor and attach a flange and shaft, were the pump was hooked up , then attach the front mount drive unit to it witch drives the PTO for the blower, I have not got any books or information on any of the equipment so I am guessing that this is the correct way So if any one out there has a setup like this or has any help to offer it would be greatly appriciated.

Not familiar with that type of system but it would mean to remove the pump that it would drive from the front of the crankshaft so you must have an electric clutch to install?

There is a clutch system on the unit and it looks like there is a place to mount the hydrolic pump on the front of this clutch system. I would like to know if this is right before I start taking things apart.

There might be more responses if you could post some pictures of the front of your tractor, and the Ber Vac components you have. Over the years Ber Vac has made different drives for front-mounted blowers.

One style was driven from the rear pto. It changed the pto rotation direction so a standard rear pto blower would work up front. Sounds like you have something different than that though.
