bent loader booms

Well like the title says , I was driving back from whats left of my dried up pond , had the grapple on and thought I was gonna clear that tree . nope, caught it on the far left corner and bent the left lower section of the boom back. I haven't seen any cracks but it definitely bent, the buckets about 2" lower on the left.
I doubt there's anyway to straighten them and get them close , or is there ?
Will Insurance cover acts of stupidity ?
anyone know the cost of loader booms ? Prodaddy , any idea ?

iyou will have to ask your insurance agent of course. they all work differently. if not, see if you cant get a torch and heat the section up that bend to a nice cherry red, then stick a block of wood under the bucket on the side that is too low and lower the bucket down a little at a time till its level. Bit primitive but hey might save you a few bucks. You will be amazed at how maneuverable steel is when it is glowing

My loader frame was twisted, I took it apart because I was re-pinning it anyway and took it to a welding shop. He had some railroad rails that were concreted into the floor for just such a task. Between some chains, come-alongs, and a forklift he got it pretty straight. I don't have it back together yet but it looks pretty straight and sits on the floor flat.

i looked at the boom before I left town , I bent and buckled the boom between the quick attach pin( or bucket pin ? ) and the dump cylinder rockshaft pin ? in other words I bent about the last 8" of the boom.my insurance said theyd cover it , just a $500 deductible

I figure I can do alot of heating and bending for $500 !
