I'm new to tractors so I guess I'm going to make mistakes. I set my backhoe down and went to put on my quick hitch by myself. I wish I had asked for help because I ended bending part of my tractor.i hope this does not cost too much to fix.

So the hoe was off and on your way to get the iMatch, this bending happened?

Or...happened before you un-hooked the backhoe?

Or.. after you put the iMatch (quick hitch) on?

Sorry to see any bending. From what I see, doesn't look serious, but nonetheless, also not pretty.

Is only one pic of the three right-side up? Two are 90 deg?

The backhoe was removed and I was hooking up the Imatch. I needed an extra set of hands to hold it up as I put the pins in. I hooked up the lower right pin and then held my upper top n tilt cylinder in place with one of the bent arms in the photo while hooking up the upper pin. I couldn't hook up the lower left pin so i raised the rock shaft arms but the upper cylinder was still hooked up to the arms in the photo. Those arms bent quick.

Gotcha. Bummer!!

I made a jig to hold the iMatch. Set the jig on a 4 wheel dolly and lower the iMatch onto it. Then wheel it off for storage. It keeps the height right for easier hookup.
I know the feeling of needing three hands to hold it up and line up the holes for the pins.

If I remember I'll post a pic tomorrow. I think I patterned mine similar to someone else here on TBN.

What is the plan? to take off the bent parts and replace or try to straighten?

Sorry about the damage:(
What I do to hookup the IMatch is set it over the arms on both sides then raise one side (picking up on IMatch by hand) at a time to pin both lower pins. Then pin the top link cylinder in last. Reverse order to remove.

Here is the carrier that I threw together. I remove the iMatch hitch once or twice a year for my rototiller.
Much easier to set it down on this jig that sets on a 4 wheel dolly. No balancing act trying to line up the pins and ball-ends while holding the hitch up in the air.

I always leave my quick hitch on annother attachment when I take it off. then it is just like hooking up an attachment without a quick hitch to reattach the quick hitch.

Looks like one of those $15 furniture movers from Harbor Freight.

Good idea!! I just removed my QH today to install the chipper and I've been using a rope (clothes line) tied to the ROPS to support it, but that rig looks much easier to use.

I actually don't see any damage to the TPH itself, at least in the photos provided. Although I don't know if the curve in that green bracket is natural. All I see is one bent bracket (green) supporting a hydraulic line, and what looks like a platform or suport bracket (black one). Looks to be cosmetic to me. Soft steel too. Unless the "repositioned" hydraulic line interferes with TPH motion, I'd make it a winter project: disassemble/straighten/paint/reinstall.

I discovered that I had bent the adjusting threaded rod on my lift arm. It is aparently a $200 part for a food of threaded rod! Tractor parts get expensive quick. Learn don't repeat and this is the hardest for me, slow the heck down. You have all day to get it done and if it is not done today then it will still be there waiting for you tomorrow and next week. Break the tractor and it still needs to get done but after you lose an arm and a leg buying parts.

I've always avoided tractors that have only one adjustable rear lift arm. Just a thought, but you might want to consider a pair of these.

I find that if I pull the pins for the Imatch and set it onto the draft links it will settle and support at the top or the slots in the Imatch. I then rig one side at a time. Just be careful that it doesn't fall off on your foot, but I haven't had any issiues.
