some friends of mine just bought a 310 and it will not get fuel to the cylinders. is there a cut off on the pump or are they going to have to rebuild the pump? the tractor set up for about 3 years an di know they need to buy two, but they did not and we need to get this one running

First use the hand pump attached to the primary feed pump, pump this untill it build pressure, You should be able to feel this as you pump. If you can not feel this pressure build up you either have a bad prime pump (easy to rebuild, just o rings) or you have a leak in one of the fuel lines. Once pressure is built up try to start the engine. (use glow plug)
Make sure you have good new diesel.
