What is the space behind the loader lever for? Factory options for diverter switch?

It looks as if something snaps in there.

No idea...unless it's a common part shared across a couple of different sized tractors and something fits in there on other models/sizes. See if you can find pics of some larger tractors in the TYM lineup and maybe you might see something in that spot.
