Good morning Ladies and gentlemen, further to my initial posting in the introduction thread this is my first real post, so please be gentle with me.
I have bought myself the aforementioned TX1500 which requires a little TLC.

So I have some questions for those that know.
In order to get at the dashboard electrics properly I need to remove the steering wheel, do I simply prise off the centre cap and undo the split pin/castellated nut? I don't want to crack the cap with too much force without being sure. It looks like it's not well seated at present and there might be what look like threads showing!!!
On engine oil change, is it good practice to prime/pre fill the new filter before tipping it on the side and screwing it on?
Front wheel bearings, (two wheel drive verion) although it drives well enough there is a lot of play in the front wheel bearings, my online reading suggest they can be adjusted. Anyone know the torque settings applicable or has anyone had to replace those bearings?
I have (thanks to the members here) downloaded the operators manual and the the parts manual so I'm just looking for a link to a workshop manual now.
Apart from the tractor and Rotavator, I have already added a 3 point hitch, a subsoiler, and a basic single furrow plough.

I have to admit this is proving to be a lot of fun and I might even get some jobs done too.
Thanks in advance.
