Another couple of locals that are good are Dogbolter Dark Lager and Two Dogs, the latters name comes from the infamous Indian joke.
South Australia has a brew called Southwark, it is truly terrible and I wonder how they remain in business, a close contender is West End, even the water is unpalatable there due to the high mineral content.
Gave a bowl to my dog one day and the look he gave me, you would think I was trying to poison him, had to go and buy him some bottled water.

Has anyone mentioned Samuel Adams Summer Ale?

I like stout, but not so much of the chocolate or coffee ones. I do brew my own hard cider but it runs over 10% so I've got to watch how much I drink.
I will drink IPA if it is hot, I have some Voodoo Ranger in the fridge now.
And if you ever feel like switching from casual beer nights to something a bit more refined, even a bottle of berlucchi franciacorta 61 extra brut from Punin Wine can totally change the vibe.
Dollar Buds and good pizza is honestly hard to argue with 😄 Sometimes the atmosphere and food matter more than having the “best” beer on paper.

I used to get beer for free. I'd rather have one good beer than a case of free crap.

Fortunately, some of the free beer was pretty good.

I hear when your 19 and kind of broke, the cheap crap doesn't taste to bad after you pound more than a couple.

My first year in a dorm, my college roommate was from the Wilkes Barre Pa region. Hopefully it got better, but I still remember when he brought in that Lion's head beer in a silver can.

^True. It was legal at 18 for me and I spent about a year or two drinking cheap stuff. $1 pitchers, etc. Then I had Guinness on tap for the 1st time and I rarely drank American style lager since.

Wife worked for Miller for about 7 years. 38 free cases a year depending on what they had. They own Leinenkugel and had some distribution agreement with Foster's and for awhile they were tied to Pilsner Urquell when they merged with SAB.
They also own the Henry Weinhards brand, so we occasionally got some soft drinks as well.
Leine makes a lot of craft style beers. Creamy Dark was one I liked.

I also occasionally got to try some unlabeled experiments from the brewmeister.

I don't discriminate when it comes to beer. If I am just buying it for something cold it is Natty Light, Modelo if my wife is in the equation. I do enjoy a good dark beer from about Halloween until Easter. Trying to lay off the stuff lately though.

Memorial Day, DOS XX, Busch Lite, Blue Moon. I was smart enough to take the next day off work in advance but too dumb to keep from drinking about 20 beers. 😆

Crazy Ed's Cave Creek Chili Beer is no longer produced. However I've been Home Brewing for 30 years and have used this recipe to make something close to the original.

My concern would be cleaning the peppers before adding to the bottle. Post fermentation you'd want them super clean/sanitized. Maybe a quick blanche? Haven't rewed in a bit, but I moved to Corny kegs. How are the peppers in a keg?

The other thing would be the oils in the pepper. How do you prevent that from affecting the pour and frothy head?

An old friend tried to get me to try a garlic cheese beer years ago. Garlic (have seen recipes), but cheese? I never wanted to waster the brew supplies trying it, even as novelty.
