Well, the owner gave me his final ultimatum today...that is he will not budge on his price. I told him I could easily do better on the internet and he told me to go ahead...

I did not have any luck in the used market(up North) mostly abused.
The decent ones were closer to buying new.

With me, I go new everytime I can affford it. I just think buying used you are purchasing someone else problems.

next sugg: if you need the TC40DA go up one model. not a big diff in price..

Robert, I think you have a dealer who knows the value of that used TC45DA and he is not going to come off the price. I think $19,000 is a very good price for that machine. I wouldn't get myself involved in a battle of wills with this dealer. I personally think he has a very good "hand of cards" to play. I believe I would buy that tractor and never look back.

Did you see the my post about the 40DA on craigslist? I didn't realize that you are in the northwest until just now. Its got the woods 9000 BH among other things on an almost new tractor. Anyway, just another option for ya.

I saw it. Nice machine! The total $ is more than I want to spend now, but it is a heckuva deal. I've already got numerous implements etc.., and am now in the process of waiting out the seller. We've spoken a couple of more times, and my hunch is he's going to move closer to me in price. Once that happens, I'm going forward w/ this sale...it is equipped exactly as I want.
