Gotta be careful... I’ve went up to a few large standing dead trees about to push them over. Luckily I always gave it a 2nd thought and aborted the mission, way too much could go wrong.

That live tree is incredibly strong!

Chain above the cut prevents that on species that like to do it. Little hard to see how deep that wedge was actually cut...

Most people have their log splitter on the back of the tractor on the 3ph.
Also best practice to cut down the tree before splitting the logs.
