I had very milky white hydro fluid in my Kubota m6800. Not ran it in 5+ months, had been running smooth, maybe a little hot at times but not over heated. Since it's white I figured It obviously is getting water in hydraulic system somehow. I changed it. When I did, inside the filter and where filter connects, was a lot of big and small metal pieces, looked to be from a race of bearings. Large bearing ball was on the edge and fell on down behind where filter connects.
Very discouraging. Have large fluid filled tires. Probably needing a clutch too. Don't want to pay dealership to do, because it needs split and I know thats gonna cost out the butt. I don't make much $ with it and don't have a farm yet. It's used to bush hog family land and help other family with hay and do a driveway here and there. So I'm at a crossroads. Sell it, and be up front with buyer. Take it to dealership and drop $2500+- or figure a way to get tires off myself and start tearing into it.
Any suggestions?
