Be carefull about getting burned on the farm

Easily my biggest fear.

Have a co-worker who insisted on refuelling a gasoline generator while it was running because shutting it off would interrupt the power to her data recorder. Some genius rig pig told her once it was completely safe to do... trying to re-educate this woman on the danger of this has been trying to say the least.

Sounds like she needed a UPS for her data recorder.

It has a winch in the mix as part of the system. Would have to be a pretty big UPS.

He's had a cadaver skin graft, and a skin graft using leg skin, 2 surgeries so far. It's a tough row to hoe for all involved. The hospital is hours away from his house, so the family is literally living out of town . .. I uh... I don't even know what to say when my buddy calls me. I just listen mostly...

Listening is what he needs most right now. His son is "living", and I use that term loosely, in great pain and a parent having to watch the suffering is a $%^&*().

A friend of one of our kids was burned over a good percentage of his body. Thankfully, we have a VERY good child burn unit at UNC but that kid suffered. He is doing very well know a days though he has scars on his neck and chest which does not seem to bother him.

Hopefully, the hospital is helping the family with lodging. I know one of our local hospitals has lower rates at local hotels. Another hospital has a hotel IN the hospital which is not known by many.
