I have a farmpro 2524 I need a new battery for it. Can anyone recommend one? With winter coming on I want to be able to start it without having to jump it every time. thank you

OR... Get the battery with the highest cold cranking amp that will fit in your tractor's battery compartment.
High cold cranking amp will allow you to crank the motor a little longer on cold mornings.

It is probably a group 27 battery(My Jinma 284 is...). As mentioned, look for one with the highest CCA, but you will probably find them all pretty similar.

I think I put a group 31 in my Jm354 Jinma a couple yrs ago. Kinda spendy seems like I paid $125 for it at the local Orielly's

If you are looking for maximum CCA(cold crank amps) - I think AGM(absorbed glass mat) batteries will give the most. Brands such as Odyssey, Optima etc - they are also very expensive. A group 31 Odyssey AGM replacement battery for my tractor was $300. I couldn't swallow that big a pill - I went with a HD Duralast battery.
