Battery suggestions (DK45SE)

I need to replace my battery but I can't find any documentation on what size or type to get. I thought the manual would at least list something but cold crank amps or size of battery but I can't find anything.

The battery that was in there is way smaller than the tray so I know I could get a bigger battery just not sure what i should look for.

Make sure the terminals are located the same on the new one. The old one should have a number on the sticker. Take a picture of it to have when you shop. A bigger battery will have a different number, but the same terminal location is what matters.

DKse tractors call for a minimum of 630 cold cranking amps. But I don't see any specific BCI group number listed. If the battery you have now doesn't look quite right, just measure up your space for length, width and height, note your +/- Cable orientation, then search the web for BCI group size charts. Or just walk into your local Napa or similar with your measuring tape in hand. The dealers may just deal with batteries (and other similar items) the best way they see fit, economically, which is why yours may seem a bit off.

I tried a marine deep cycle battery I had and the tractor did the same thing, when you turn the key you just hear a click and nothing else happens.

so it may not be the battery after all.

My DK45se has a group 24 battery.
