I am in the market for a battery powered blower. My primary use will be blowing off a patio, sidewalk or equipment. I also will take it on our travel trailer to blow off the slides and the pad. I am specifically looking for a blower not made in China. So far I looking at these two:

BGA 56 Battery Blower | Electric Cordless Leaf Blower | STIHL USA
Made in USA

32iB 4V Battery Cordless Leaf Blower, Lithium Ion
Made in Sweden

Does anyone have any input on these two models or can you suggest another brand/model that I could consider?

Thanks

We got EGO 56v, no complaints. Can't really compare to what you've mentioned other than the specs you can read.

I use both Stilh and Ryobi blowers. Both do the Job well. Ryobi seems to hold the charge longer than Stilh.
I blew dry leaves off a 800 foot long gravel road last fall with Ryobi on one battery charge.

Yep, EGO. Had a husqvarna gas blower and the EGO does way better. Surprised the s**t out of me. Only issue I have is there is a slight delay when you pull the trigger to start blowing with it. Once you get used to it you don't really notice it. I really love mine.

I have a Ryobi 40 volt and I really like it, as good or better than my old Homelite gas blower. If you have other battery powered tools it is good to stay with that brand since you have other batteries available and already have a charger.

Think our battery blower is a Workx. I'd go with the Stihl. Try to get the one that will go with the battery that will work well in other implements by Stihl. We've a Stihl saw that uses the AK battery.

Thanks everyone for your experiences and opinions. I think I am going to go with the Stihl. It has good reviews and is made in the USA, not China (a rare find). I have a Stihl chainsaw and a corded blower which have served me well. Also our local Co-Op is a Stihl dealer so if they have one in stock I can touch it before buying.

I went by our local Co-Op and picked up the new blower. It is a Stihl BGA-57. It was $199 + tax and came with 1 battery and a charger. I am very pleased with the fit and finish of this tool. I have not had a chance to really use it but it seems to have good power. It uses the AK series battery which works with several other tools. If this tool works good I might have to purchase a string trimmer next.

FSA 57 | Lightweight Cordless Trimmer | STIHL USA
