Battery light flickering

I have a 2002 grasshopper 721d2. The battery light flickers when running from mid to upper rpm range. The volt meter shows charging at a little over 14 volts. The alternator belt is properly adjusted? Anyone know what The problem might be? thanks

I had a very similar situation with my Kubota RTV.

I cleaned the battery terminals and that solve the problem temporarily. I ended up needing to replace the battery.
